Ghoker
|
Ghoker is an exceptional April, 2003 dark bay colt by the Elite Hanoverian Stallion Grandom, out of an Elite imported Bergkristall mare. This beautiful colt was chosen by Klaus Buenger, a board member of the German Verband as well as a respected stallion raiser, as one of the top colts at the largest inspection site on the 2003 AHS tour. This colt possesses correct, lofty, well-balanced gaits as well as an easy-going, kind, eager temperament. Ghoker represents yet another exemplary cross of the Hanoverian Grande and Bolero bloodlines. Ghoker's sire, Grandom, is an imported Grannus son who successfully competed on the Belgium Grand Prix jumper circuit. Ghoker's sire line consists of multiple great Hanoverian athletes such as Grande, Domspatz, Frustra II, Gotthard and Senator. Ghoker's dam, Elite Mare Barilla, passed her Mare Inspection in Germany with an overall 8.0 scoring particularly well for her swing and elasticity. She then went on to pass her Mare Performance Test with a 7.67, impressing the German inspection team with scores of 8 and 9 in the free-jumping category despite a strong dressage influence throughout her pedigree. Barilla's bloodlines include the German refining stallions Bolero and Shogun, as well as the popular Akzent and Gigant. Ghoker has inherited a strong bone, an incredibly power-packed hindquarter and a beautifully angled shoulder. He should mature a robust 16.2 hands and is being raised as a stallion prospect if not sold prior to licensing. This handsome boy is priced at $14,000 with price subject to change pending 2005 summer's training. |
